Last day of school today.

Not for Bertha. But she found a worm.

Grade Four Rug Hooking

Each of the Gr. 4 classes (Maya's in one of them) produced a hooked mat. I (Mel) spent several hours a day for 4 days at the school and it was finished! I started with an orientation to rug hooking on a Thursday and I was binding the edges by the following Tuesday eve.  This is Maya standing next to the three (she worked on the left one).

That time of June...

June is when all the kids' activities wind down with shows, tests and performances. It's also when Scott and I celebrate our wedding anniversary (this year marks 13 years), I celebrate another birthday and we do something special around Father's Day.
