This is us. We are not great (as our friends and family know) at keeping in regular touch and sending frequent photos. We hope to document big events and/or random good pics we though were worth sharing.

The caplin have rolled in.

Caplin, a small fish, come flopping onto the shore to die around this time of year - always coinciding with full moon and fog. There are also whales to be seen very close to shore for an easy and full feed. It's quite a spectacular site to see a shore full of flopping glittering little fish. Maya held this one long enough for the picture. We ate them yesterday. All 20 of them. Bones and all.

Collected about 20..

Aidan enjoyed filling up his bag with caplin...disarding the headless ones.

Bertha Touches her First Caplin

Just touched. Refused to hold it.
