This is us. We are not great (as our friends and family know) at keeping in regular touch and sending frequent photos. We hope to document big events and/or random good pics we though were worth sharing.

Bertha is going through a rough spot..
Bertha has been in the hospital for the last 2 weeks and we were hoping she'd come home before we headed for Waterloo for another 3.5 weeks. She had a nice visit with her biological parents recently and she'll be spending lots of time with a caregiver while we are away. This is Bertha this week, playing with her sat monitor cord.
My farewell gift was this beautiful fabric wall hanging of icebergs - you can't see it but the sewing has a woman's face in the side of one of the icebergs. This was an appropriate picture to capture Newfoundland and Labrador as well as imagery we use in conflict resolution training for people having issues, positions and interests, etc.
This is Liz, Bertha's caregiver for 2 days and 2 nights a week feeding Bertha cereal. Each bite is one step closer to removing that NG tube. It'll be a great day when Bertha doesn't need to be tube fed.
