Maya has reached double digits.

Nope. She hasn't acquired extra fingers or anything - she turned 10 today.
Here are some pictures from her bday party today - with some of her friends.  The party was held at an art facility here - and there were 3 stations for the kids to work at.  They could roam between a "free drawing", "cartooning" and "sunset painting" stations.

 My friend and fellow PhD colleague, has a baking business called Posh Nosh - very impressive stuff (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Posh-Nosh-Confections/186466598039954?sk=info). She made bday cupcakes (see above) and take-home "pop cakes" (see below).
